  • Overview

    Coordinates and implements marketing communication projects. Organizes public image campaigns and special events. Participates in creating brand awareness through advertising and social media. Arranges proposals and presentations using marketing resource materials such as brochures, data, slides, PowerPoint, photographs, and reports. Prepares status reports on marketing efforts by communicating with appropriate operations and marketing managers. May liaise with the media, vendors, advertising agencies and public relations firms. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.


    • Assisting team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested
    • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department and printer; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt;
    • Supporting the in-house marketing and design team by coordinating and collating content
    • Producing additional marketing communications, such as flyers, brochures and exhibition-related projects – make work with outside vendors
    • Setting up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities
    • Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors
    • Assisting with the production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying and checking copy
    • Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and emails
    • Align all marketing and communications materials to corporate messaging standards
    • Co-work with the existing markets with event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for local events (VIP events, Open Houses) and tradeshows
    • Setting up new projects in the workflow system, and tracking progress
    • Producing and updating status reports
    • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or another business-related field or previous experience in a similar marketing role.
    • Confident and outgoing personality.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Experience in the healthcare setting - at least 2 years
    • Proficiency in the use of computers for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, presentation, email, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop (MS Office-Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint)
    • Well organized and self-motivated.
    • Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
    • Strong oral communication, writing, and editing skills required.
    • Strong document formatting, page design and layout skills.
    • Ability to work in collaborative (as well as virtual) team environments.
    • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize to meet multiple deadlines, often on short notice.
    • Ability to travel (<10%).
