    In this role, the Senior Accountant readies and maintains financial and business transactions, applying accounting principles that include work that is analytical, evaluative, and advisor in nature and that requires an understanding of both accounting theory and practice.


    • Prepare monthly journal entries.
    • Prepare account reconciliations.
    • Perform monthly budget to actual variance analysis.
    • Responsible for Fixed Assets and preparation of property tax returns.
    • Maintain, manage and propose monthly AP accruals.
    • Update cash forecasting report.
    • Assist in preparation of supporting schedules to external tax accountants for corporate tax return and other filings.
    • Prepare bank deposits.
    • Provide Accounts Payable support.
    • Preparation of audit schedules for annual audit.
    • Perform financial reporting and general accounting functions.
    • Ad hoc projects

    • Good knowledge of GAAP.
    • Proficiency with Excel. Great Plains & Frx experience highly desirable.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Experience with general ledger accounting (i.e., above the transactional functions of A/P, A/R, etc.).
    • Exchanges non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate.
    • Involvement with process improvement.
    • High level of professionalism.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions 



    Education and Experience Requirements:


    • Bachelors Degree in Business/Accounting.
    • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
    • CPA preferred.
