JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) is a key human resources role for ConcertoHealth, Inc. and will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This role will support key HR systems for a high growth potential, fast-paced company in the health care provider industry. The HR Business Partner will be required to learn and understand the business and act in support of the company’s strategy and operating goals through working directly with the CHRO and the company’s management team.

 

This position requires independent and collaborative efforts to work at all levels within the organization. The HR Business Partner will leverage resources and expertise of multiple functions within Human Resources to deliver scalable, customer focused HR programs and services to the business; implementing them in a way that ensures the appropriate level of support to the core business and support functions are provided to meet the needs of the business. The HR Business Partner will have a working knowledge of all Human Resources (HR) practices including but not limited to total rewards programs, employee retention strategies, coaching/performance management, legal/compliance, work design, organizational development, succession planning, standard administration, and special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a consultant to Business Leaders at all levels within the organization. Provides HR guidance to employees and managers including, but not limited to, employee relations, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, training, and company policies.
  • Promotes a diverse and inclusive culture by supporting the Organization’s people initiatives.
  • Maintains proactive contact and communication with departments and divisions to effectively serve as a strategic business partner.  Establishes and maintains positive collaborative relationships with clients and client groups.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to front line leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Coaches and develops managers to become effective as leaders and managers. Partners with leaders to oversee and provide recommendations and guidance on creating a great place to work.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit structures, workforce planning and the talent agenda. 
  • Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of Organizational Effectiveness solutions for the organization, such as performance management, change management, team effectiveness interventions and career advancement.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Effectively manages 1:1 conflict independently and group conflict with guidance. Conducts investigations related to people issues with management, employees, patients, vendors, contractors, etc.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to revise or develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Under general supervision or guidance, contributes to the deployment (e.g., communicate, advocate, train, review metrics, status progress) of HR processes, policies and procedures by utilizing existing tools and resources.
  • Administers benefits and compensation programs. Supports the salary review process and ensures appropriate linkages with broader functional and business reviews. Supports the annual open enrollment process and qualified changes outside of the open enrollment period.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • May contribute to or lead cross-functional business or HR projects.
  • Position may require participating in meetings outside of normal business hours including occasional evenings and/or weekends.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications are a four (4) year degree in finance, business, human resources, organizational development or related equivalent experience.
  • Requires 4-6 years of experience in progressively responsible roles in an HR dedicated capacity.
  • Must have demonstrated excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and HR related technologies such as ATS and HRIS applications. Experience in UltiPro and ICIMs highly desired.
  • Must have good organizational, prioritization, time management and detail-oriented skills.
  • Must be a team player and provide excellent customer service.
