Under the direction of the Associate Vice President of Program Management, manages online course development, Care Management (CM), Utilization Management (UM) training, mentoring and quality initiatives for eLearning. The incumbent ensures accessibility issues related to online instruction are addressed and comply with applicable regulations. Oversees the planning, implementation and evaluation of production services using a variety of media. Responds to eLearning and training inquiries from the CM and UM leadership teams and responds to reporting requests from CM and UM leadership team. Supports the Clinical Operations Training Department in educational needs such as educational material development, delivery and evaluation as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with CM and UM leadership, establishes the vision and goals, and oversees work plans for the eLearning program. Supports the development of strategic offerings/initiatives, related policies and procedures and program promotion; ensures compliance with accessibility regulations.
  • Plans, implements and manages the CM and UM market-wide online course development process, including employee training, instructional design and quality course design reviews.
  • Designs and delivers eLearning courses, workshops and other training to support the CM and UM departments.
  • Plans and oversees the implementation of professional development programs relating to best practices in online teaching and other organizational eLearning initiatives to support employee success and completion.
  • Develops and implements plans that address accessibility in online instruction. This includes compliance with federal regulations, support and training for employees as appropriate, in designing accessible course materials, problem-solving to address accommodation requests from employees or CM/UM leadership and adaptation of course materials.
  • Oversee the end-to-end learning development & implementation across a number of modalities in-line with adult learning best practices, including the definition and measurement of learning outcomes.
  • Consistently evaluate the intake, design, and implementation process to identify areas for continuous process improvement.
  • Evaluates eLearning content, intake, design, and implementation process to identify areas for continuous process improvement.
  • Supervises eLearning and instructional design employees. Hires, evaluates, trains, disciplines and recommends the dismissal of employees as necessary.
  • Researches, develops and facilitates quality training opportunities for new and continuing employees in the use of technology in instruction and implements new instructional strategies to remain competitive in the delivery of education; researches emerging technologies and their application to teaching and learning.
  • Plans, implements and manages the market wide processes and operations of media services program including video, multi-media, web and/or other related technologies in support of eLearning services. Coordinates the scheduling, training, development, and support for production resources in relation to development and implementation of any eLearning. Coordinates eLearning production activities within Concerto.
  • Manage the production of high quality video, multi-media, and graphic materials to support the delivery of instruction and services in eLearning. Collaborate with CM leadership to plan, script, and deliver instructionally and aesthetically-sound media productions.
  • Participate in the development and administration of applicable policies, strategic plans, goals and programmatic activities pertaining to eLearning services within ConcertoHealth.
  • Design and support educational material for CM and UM, using programs such as eLearning, Power Point etc.
  • Design and pull ConcertoU reports as needed for CM/UM leadership and Health Plan requests.
  • Support the CM/UM leadership team in identifying employees who are out of compliance in their assigned eLearning responsibilities.
  • Support Clinical Operations Training Department in additional training market-wide in the delivery or development of CM education and policy/procedure development.
  • Travel as needed to support any e-learning training and development.
  • Positions in this classification may perform all or some of the responsibilities above and all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field and three years of progressively-responsible experience related to corporate eLearning, training, and multi-media production
  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of a year of Care Management experience
  • Have experience with large scale Learning Management Systems
  • High level of proficiency in eLearning authoring software (Articulate and Cornerstone)
  • Proven ability to accomplish results within a complex organizational structure
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
