The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for supporting all administrative tasks for the department. We are looking for a dynamic, self-starter, who is focused on providing excellent customer service to both our internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, be able to deal with highly sensitive information, maintain confidentiality and have a can-do attitude.




  • Perform a wide variety of responsible clerical, technical, administrative, and other duties in support of the HR Department.
  • Coordinates New Hire Orientations and ensures that all necessary information and paperwork is completed and filed.
  • Accurate and timely input of new hire paperwork, rehire paperwork, and employee changes into HRIS in order to assure correct payroll outcomes.
  • Responsible for initiating employee’s terminations per HR outlined process.
  • Ensures that employee personnel records are organized and maintained in accordance with HR processes and government regulations.
  • Assist in filing worker compensation claims for injured employees, and for maintaining WC updates.
  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
  • Assists with employee and wellness events, as well as employee recognition programs in place.
  • Assist CHRO and management staff with performance review process.
  • All other duties as assigned.



  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Requires 0-2 years of experience in progressively responsible roles in an HR function.
  • Previous experience supporting an executive, or working in a human resource department highly desired.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to establish priorities, work under time constraints, and demanding situations with a diverse group of people.
  • Experience and sensitivity in dealing with people of different cultures.
  • Discretion in the handling of confidential information.
  • Ability to understand applicable company policies and procedures and explain them to others.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Skill in detail work, including maintaining complete and accurate records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of database systems.
  • Ability to efficiently navigate the Internet.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
