JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Representative serves as a point of contact for employees, and provides general support to the human resources department. This position requires independent and collaborative efforts to work at all levels within the organization. The HR Representative will leverage resources and expertise of multiple functions within Human Resources to deliver scalable, customer focused HR programs and services to the business; implementing them in a way that ensures the appropriate level of support to the core business and support functions are provided to meet the needs of the business. The HR Representative will have a working knowledge of all Human Resources (HR) practices including but not limited to total rewards programs, employee retention strategies, coaching/performance management, legal/compliance, compensation, work design, organizational development, succession planning, standard administration, and special projects.

 

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a high-paced environment, be flexible to change, and support a growing human resource team and organization. This person will be responsible for partnering with the Human Resource Business Partner to ensure all initiatives and deliverables for the department are met. Must have a strong, customer focused approach to duties. The ability to prioritize, be organized, and detail oriented is essential to the role.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates and conducts new hire orientation, completes new hire paperwork and ensures successful onboarding of all new employees.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of employee status changes including new hires, terminations, and all status changes.
  • Completes employee verifications in accordance with company policies.
  • Serves as a point of contact to employees on HR related questions and concerns.
  • Audits and maintains accurate and complete files related to colleague documentation.
  • Follow up with candidates on background check and drug screening to ensure timely hire
  • Serves as a back-up to support the benefits coordinator, as needed, to coordinate administration of health and welfare plans including enrollments, terminations changes, billing, and serving as a resource to employees on benefits questions. May support administration of leaves in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
  • Produces offer letters, completes background check and verifies that candidates are cleared for hire. Assists with candidate coordination to include completion of required forms and scheduling of interviews, as necessary.
  • Accurately inputting new hire data and status change requests into HRIS (i.e. UltiPro)
  • Partner with the HR Business Partner on culture and engagement events.
  • Provide support for the talent acquisition team, as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.     

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, finance, organizational development or equivalent related work experience required.
  • Must have computer skills and ability to learn HRIS system (ie. UltiPro and iCIMs).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and social skills.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Human Resources required.
  • Preferred candidates will have previous experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with applicable state and federal laws.
